I don't particularly like it, either, but if they're going to provide their own mod platform to make sure that non-code mods are available for consoles while allowing code mods (such as TM:PE & the like for CS1) on the PC, then I'll just get used to using the Paradox Mods platform. For now I do this for assets that go missing. ![]() Unless for assets (have yet to try this for mods) you use this guide to and copy and move the assets from the steam folder to the game folder. (Hint: DLC stands for Downloadable Content it has nothing to do with whether or not that content is going to be charged for.)ģ) They've made it abundantly that they're not supporting Steam Workshops for this game, so get over it. 1) If youre running Steam now, right-click the Steam icon on the taskbar and select Exit. For a short while you could but for the longest time now the answer is no you can't play offline with assets and mods. 1) You don't even own the game, so why do you care? You're just one of those people who likes to endlessly complain? If you bought the game via another platform, you can't use the Steam Workshops for this game, anyway.Ģ) Paradox/CO had no problems with mods in CS1, and some of the DLC that they provided was done so at no charge.
